S: Scripture-Write the ONE scripture that I feel God is using to speak to me in today’s reading:

7: [25] And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.  Matthew 7:25 ESV

Observation- He has placed my foot on a firm foundation.  When you are built up on a firm foundation you can endure the trials of life.

A: Application- I can be one to get very caught up in justice or at least my idea of justice.  I also can get very down when certain trials come up.  Alas I have an advocate.  My foot is on a firm foundation, I can shaken but I will not crumble.  I stand on the Word of God.

P: Prayer- Oh Father, you know me so well.  You are all knowing, you created me, all of my days ordained.  It is my prayer that my first instinct in trials and suffering is to run to you.  Not rely on other’s advice, my own wants but to run to you.  I will lift my eyes to the Maker.  Amen.
