Matthew 6

S: Scripture (What Scripture stood out):

8… for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. 9 Pray then like this:

“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
10 Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread,
12 and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

O: Observation: He knows what we all need. We should pray for His perfect will to be done in our lives.

A: Application: Instead of focusing my prayers on me and my wants; I should prayer with Him as the focus and the bigger picture of His kingdom and His will. Reverence, Obedience, Forgiveness,
Repentance, and Protection.

P: Prayer:  “Dear Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.  Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give me this day my daily bread,  and forgive me my debts, as I also have forgiven my debtors.  And lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from evil.  Amen.
