Matthew 5
S: Scripture-Write the ONE scripture that I feel God is using to speak to me in today’s reading: 10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
O: Observation- To hang in there. Not be discouraged or swayed.
A: Application- Lately I have been dealing with skeptics and it has taken it’s toll on me. I want to quit defending the Bible at times. But I know it holds the Truth, and no man can tell me differently. This verse is encouraging to me, and Jesus predicted such situations. He is my Rock, I shall look to Him and His Word.
P: Prayer-Father, you are Truth, there is no truth without You. You stand for absolute truth. You spoke clearly in the Bible and I thank you for your God breathed scripture. Please help me to defend the faith, defend your Word, stay true and not be swayed by man. Guide my ways, thoughts, my words. Amen
