Easy, Delicious Smores Waffle Cones

This yucky January weather has me pining for hot, summer days. Thought I would pull a sun-shiney post out to feel warm and happy.

Every Summer we go away to Horsetooth Reservoir and stay in their lake front cabins. We love it and it has become quite a family tradition. We go with my extended family. We usually have about 20-30 people around at any given time. The kids all play on the beach, the adults play cards and have a great time. I always go to Pinterest for some yummy snack ideas.  This time around I found Smores Waffle Cones!  Yes… SMORES WAFFLES CONES.  You basically buy everything that is good and right in the world. Waffle cones, chocolate, marshmallows, and lots of good candy!

We chose Oreos, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, Cherry Nibs, Peanut M&M’s, Chocolate Chips and Pecans. You would not believe the kids faces when they came back from the beach and saw this spread!

We filled them up, wrapped them in tinfoil and set them on the grate in the fire.

Messy?  Yes.  Ooey Gooey? Yes.  Completely delicious? Yes! The kids loved, the adults loved them. We will make these again! We need to try gummy bears!
